Barry Mosley began trombone and piano studies at the age of 12. By 16 he was orchestrating and composing for big bands and orchestras in Toronto, Canada. His formal college studies included De Anza College in Cupertino California under the direction of Herb Patnoe.
Mosley moved to Los Angeles in 1989 and began writing film scores. Over the past 10 years his film compositions have appeared in movie theaters across North America, Europe, Asia, as well as H.B.O. television. Other clients include: I.O.U. Productions, Movie House, Sony, Mark Turner, Goblin Craft, and Brentertic Productions.
Barry Mosley is a registered film composer with ASCAP.
